On Friday, January 13, 2017, Freedom Focused will officially be "Cutting the Ribbon" in celebration of our entrance into the professional seminar training industry.


This event signals the beginning of a new phase of our corporate development.


We extend a special invitation to our friends, colleagues, and readers to attend this special commemoration ceremony.


Those in attendance will get to share in the celebration of our company's first official ribbon cutting ceremony.  The event will be highlighted by a few words from Dr. Jordan R. Jensen, our Founder and CEO, as well as from our Chief Financial Officer and a surprise VIP guest.  

We invite YOU to SAVE the DATE of January 13, 2017 for this special occasion.  The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 1:45 p.m. and will last for 15-20 minutes.  Light refreshments will be served afterward.

In celebration of this new phase of our corporate development, we invite you to review a summary of our company activities to date.  This timeline provides a synopsis of the most important events in our history, which is still in the beginning stages.

A Brief History of Freedom Focused LLC

1987-1988 School Year:  Eight-year old Jordan Jensen attends his first time management seminars taught by his Uncle and Father.  He also begins using his first Franklin Day Planner as a second grader at Nathan Hale Elementary School in Mesa, Arizona.


2001-2003: As a young college student, Jensen reads Stephen R. Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and completes a personal leadership statement (a forerunner to his self-constitution) in a leadership class at Brigham Young University.  Jensen graduates with a bachelor's degree in English from Utah Valley University.


November 3, 2003:  First Freedom Focused seminar — a pro bono gig to a student group at Lassiter High School in Marietta, GA.

September 13, 2005:  Officially incorporated as "Freedom Focus," an LLC registered in the State of Utah.  The name would later change to "Freedom Focused," the result of a clerical error made by the Hartford Company.  Jensen liked the derivative form and decided to stick with it.  Thank you, Hartford Insurance, for this fortuitous error!


October 12, 2005:  First paid seminar to 300 ninth graders at Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.


April 2006:  First shipment of I Am Sovereign: The Power of Personal Leadership (Jensen's first published book) arrives at home office in Woodstock, Georgia.  (565 copies)


October 1, 2007:  First professional contract seminar for Fred Pryor Seminars in College Station, TX, on the topic of Mistake-Free Grammar and Proofreading.


November 17, 2007:  First keynote address at the FBLA/PBL National Student's Conference in Birmingham, AL, with 1,300 students in attendance.


June 20, 2009:  Jensen begins doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Fielding Graduate University where he would eventually study under the tutelage of Rodney J. Beaulieu, Ph.D.  Beaulieu is credited as being the first to coin Freedom Focused's all-important phrase, Self-Action Leadership, which is a hybrid term that combines "Self-Leadership" and "Action Research."

May 9, 2013:  First contract seminar for SkillPath Seminars in Lufkin, TX.


August 22, 2013:  Jensen awarded doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Fielding Graduate University.


October 2015:  Jensen publishes fourth book, Self-Action Leadership: The Key to Personal, Professional, & Global Freedom


October 18, 2016:  First professional, all-day, corporate seminars booked for December 2016 on the topics of Grammar, Proofreading, and E-mail Etiquette.


January 13, 2017:  Official Freedom Focused Ribbon Cutting at The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce.


What will the future bring for Freedom Focused?  We don't know for sure; the end of our story is yet unwritten.


However, we work each day to write a little bit more of its unfolding story, and are confident that as we remain committed and persistent, we will yet tell a tale that will someday be retold around the globe for the educational services and benefits of freedom it provides to individuals, organizations, communities, nations, and even the world-at-large.
